Our founders have over 50 years of collective experience in financial services, from Tier 1 banks to Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, creating a leading foreign exchange company in the process. They combine a passion for technology with a specialism in complex financial systems.
JOHN CRAIG, FCA CF, MANAGING DIRECTOR
John Craig qualified with Brebners, becoming a partner in 1985. Initially specialising in audit, John has over the years developed a client base of SMEs predominantly in the service sector. He has assisted many of these clients in successfully developing exit strategies and/or implementing succession plans. These objectives have been achieved via successful IPOs on the London Stock Exchange and the AIM market. John now helps many of these clients to introduce currency management strategies, to further improve their bottom lines.
John enjoys relaxing by playing golf and watching football.
TIM CRAIG, AMCT, DIRECTOR
Tim began his financial career at Barclays Capital, following a stint at a leading sports management firm. Initially working in M&A, with a blue-chip client base of FTSE 250 companies, Tim decided to specialise in Treasury Management. Over the past 15 years he has developed a client base of HNWIs, Funds and Institutions. He has helped many of his clients to successfully develop hedging strategies strategies and/or market entry points. In addition, Tim has helped many clients to improve their financial processes, via introductions to his extensive network.
Tim enjoys travelling around the world, playing golf and trying out the local cuisine.
GARY BELTON, DIRECTOR
Gary has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector, working with FTSE- and Nasdaq-listed firms. He began his career at Barclays Corporate in the TMT division, where he became a Senior Relationship Manager, overseeing some of the UK’s largest TV and film clients. He then joined MoneySuperMarket as Senior Partnerships Manager, managing key banking relationships with Barclays, Santander, TSB, and American Express.
Later, as Head of Partnerships at FairFX (now Equals plc), Gary positioned the company as a trusted FX specialist in football, directly facilitating over £100m in annual international player transfers. His work supported numerous Premier League and Football League clubs, including Leicester City after their title-winning season. With more than a decade of FX expertise in sports, Gary has delivered substantial savings for 300+ footballers, high-profile boxers, and leading sports agencies worldwide.
